Rachel has ten years of professional experience photographing products for companies like DFTBA Records, an online merchandise company.
Outside of the professional setting, Rachel has twenty years of experience photographing landscapes, the unusual, and much more.
Projects
Projects include photographing the first launch of Sun Basin Soap, a soap subscription. Projects also include photographing products launched for Pizzamas, a yearly project that explores the creative avenues we can go down in creating new products.
Graphic Design
Rachel has had a hand in launching new websites, designing products for countless creators, and creating promo material for social media.
Her philosophy on graphic design is to be flexible on the assignment, making the designs pop for viewers, and making sure the message comes across.
Rachel has worked on hundreds of projects that range from poster creation, layout design, shirt designs, informational graphics, and promotional printouts.
She has worked on projects for Hank and John Green, The City of Missoula, and many more.
In her free time she devotes her graphic design skills to promoting mutual aid and working class power!
Fine Art
Rachel has been oil painting for seventeen years, drawing inspiration from her childhood, religious iconography, and female sexuality.
Rachel’s work has been seen in galleries such as Fronteir Space, Frame of Mind Gallery, Missoula Art Museum and more.
Recent projects include Of Twenty a celebration of getting older, discovering new ways to focus on the different aspects sexual health benefits her body, and the self portraits they produce.
Return to Scene explores the core dreams that Rachel consistently has and returns to multiple times throughout her life. These dreams range from reliving traumatic experiences to a complete mysteries. Through intuitive shape making and then matching those shapes to the themes that are connected to these dreams, she attempts to make sense of her unconscious mind and why it keeps returning to these vignettes.
